artist statement

“My artwork is a reflection of my ongoing exploration of the human experience. Although I primarily am a realistic oil painter, I am constantly experimenting with new mediums and styles to capture the emotional vulnerability and complexity of the human body. Through my work, I aim to spark conversations about mental health and current world issues.

My art is rooted in my own experiences with trauma and my desire to create a space for others to explore their own emotions and experiences. Through depictions of the human form, I aim to highlight the beauty and strength of the human spirit while also acknowledging the struggles we all face.

My work has been featured in various art shows and I have been honored to receive several awards. These accolades are a testament to the impact my artwork has had on others and my dedication to creating meaningful and thought-provoking pieces.

Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to use my work to start conversations and create a space for healing and growth. I hope that my art can serve as a reminder that we are all complex, beautiful, and worthy of love and belonging.”
